2 found shot dead in Riverside’s Arlanza neighborhood – Press Enterprise

Two people were found shot dead in the Arlanza neighborhood of Riverside on Sunday afternoon, February 27, police said.

Riverside Police were dispatched at 2:10 p.m. on a report of a shooting in the Gould Street and Crest Avenue area, and responding officers found two people shot near an SUV, Officer Ryan Railsback said. Both were pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics, he said.

Surrounding roads have been closed to the investigation, Railsback said. The area is north of Freeway 91 and south of Freeway 60.

No immediately identifying information was available for any of the victims.

Information about possible suspects and the events leading up to the shooting was not immediately available.
