Remarkable: Forman won the 143-pound singles championship at the CIF State Meeting in Bakersfield, becoming only the 25th female wrestler to win at least two state titles. In the final, she took a 5-0 lead in the opening seconds of the match, holding on to a 9-7 win over Marina’s Alexandra Lopez. Forman recorded three pins and another decision victory in her other four matches. She won the 137-pound state title as a freshman in 2020 while wrestling at Upland.
