Make a Difference – Donate For Poor Children’s Lives

If you’re looking for ways to make an impact, consider donating to a charity that supports children. These organizations work hard to improve the lives of children in impoverished countries around the world.

Donating to a charity with a clear mission and good reputation is an important way to ensure your donation has a meaningful impact. We’ve rounded up some of our favorites below.
Sponsor a child

In the United States, child poverty is a major problem. The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) reports that over 23% of American children live in families whose income is less than half the national average.

Fortunately, there are many charities that help to connect sponsors with children who need their support. These charities range from religious organizations that incorporate morals into their work to secular groups that ensure sponsor donations go directly to children.

When you sponsor a child, you’re not just supporting them financially but you’re helping them on a journey toward self-sustainability and development. Your love and encouragement will transform their lives physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially.

World Hope International’s child sponsorship program helps to remove barriers that prevent children from gaining access to education. This includes things like tuition, uniforms, books and ensuring that children have safe transport to and from school.
Join a team

The best part about joining a team is that you get to play an active role in a cause you truly believe in. You’ll also be rewarded with the satisfaction of knowing you made a difference in someone else’s life. Whether it’s a small group of family and friends or an entire company, teams are the engine room of any organization. They help to improve employee morale, promote communication, and even reduce accidents on the jobsite. Despite their ubiquity, many organizations fall short of their potential.

One of the better ways to demonstrate your dedication to improving the lives of children in need is through a charitable donation, and Donate for poor childrens makes it easy to do so. The company has been in business since 1996 and currently supports tens of thousands of children around the world. Its signature program, the Compassion program, pairs impoverished children with a financial sponsor to deliver on the promise of providing them with food, clothing, medical attention and education. Their newest endeavor, the Childrens Health Initiative, is working to improve the health and well-being of infants and young children in the US by addressing the root causes of the ills that plague them.
Sponsor their school fees

A quality education is critical to a child’s health, success and well-being. Yet many families struggle to afford school fees and other educational materials.

Sponsorships offer the opportunity to support vulnerable children from kindergarten through high school who otherwise might not get the chance to attend. Investing in a child’s education also helps them build confidence and overcome their social and economic barriers to thrive in life.

In addition to providing financial support, Sasamani works closely with sponsors and their children to ensure they are on track for graduation. This includes helping them to meet their basic needs such as food, school boarding, hygiene supplies and transportation expenses.

Donating to children is a great way to give back to their communities and help break the cycle of poverty for generations to come. With a few simple steps, you can help a child in need and make a lasting impact on their lives. Your donation will provide them with a quality education, encouragement and support.
Share a meal

The world’s largest humanitarian agency, the UN World Food Programme (WFP), has launched ShareTheMeal, an app that enables smartphone users to donate a meal for a child. It is a simple to use app that allows users to make a one-off donation of around $0.80, the amount WFP believes it’s necessary to buy a decent meal for most hungry children worldwide.

The app, which is already available in Italy, was a hit during its trial period, which included 120,000 users in Austria, Germany, and Switzerland. It has since been rolled out to the rest of the world and will help fund WFP’s efforts to feed 20,000 Syrian refugee children in Jordan.
