A Garden Grove man accused of stabbing his roommate in a sober house has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, police said Sunday March 6.

The stabbing happened around 10:12 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, in the 12800 block of Safford West, the Garden Grove Police Department said in a press release. A man was found stabbed to death on the front lawn and taken to a hospital, police said.

The victim underwent a four-hour operation and was in “improving” but critical condition as of Sunday, authorities said.
